Great Holiday Events to Share with your Preschooler
There are so many events this holiday season. Check out your local parade and candy cane lane. Here are a few of the other holiday events to check out.
The Reindeer Romp at the Los Angeles Zoo
You can pet real reindeers, participate in holiday crafts and ride the Christmas train! For more details visit www.lazoo.com
Breakfast with Santa at the La Habra Children's Museum
Santa Clause visit's the museum and stays for breakfast, and photos. Reservations are required and tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for children. Visit www.lhcm.org for more information.
The Tournament of Roses Pre-Parade Events
You can see the parade bands, visit the horses and watch equestrian performers practice, and participate in the Family Festival. You can even see the floats being created. The Family Festival is free, the other events have nominal fees. For more information visit www.tournamentofroses.com
Go Ice Skating at Pershing Square in Los Angeles
Skate rentals are available every day for all sizes. Pershing Square is in the middle of Downtown L.A. and very close to the L.A. Central Library. If you go on a Sunday, you can check out the children's event at the library then go skating at Pershing Square. You could even have a snack at the library's cafe. Thank you so very much for all the wonderful suggestions. I plan to try them all! My son has a blanket from which he is inseparable, what a fantastic idea to tell him there are imaginary pockets with kisses and magic inside. I'm glad your son outgrew the nightmares. Here's to hoping mine does too.
